Azerikimya oversees the distribution and supply of natural gas and petroleum products in Azerbaijan, ensuring safe and reliable delivery to industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Its operations cover the majority of Azerbaijan, except for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, while international operations are managed through its regional subsidiaries.
The development of Azerbaijan’s gas network began in the 1970s. The Iran–Astara–Gazi Mammad–Gazakh main gas pipeline, built in 1971, laid the foundation for gas supply to cities and settlements.
Azerikimya emerged as a leading entity in gas production, distribution, and infrastructure management, continuing the modernization and expansion of the country’s gas grid.
The company’s mission is to provide safe, uninterrupted, and environmentally responsible gas supply in compliance with national legislation and international standards. It emphasizes the adoption of advanced technologies and management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 10002, and ISO 50001, ensuring sustainable development under the Plan-Do-Check-Act principle.
